Rates

• Quarters: The teaching schedule is split into four 3 month periods. One quarter's tuition pays for 12  "hour" (50 minute) lessons to be taken within that 12 week period. All lessons must be taken within this period of time. Regular weekly lessons will be scheduled, and to some degree I will work with reschedules, but remember that my time slots are limited, so I may not be able to find another time if you miss your appointed lesson time. In order for me to reschedule, I must have 24 hours notice.
  • Quarter plan: 360.00 for 12 lessons to be taken in 3 months. This amount is paid in full up front, non-refundable, so before you commit to 12 weeks of lessons, please examine your time and commitments. This works out to 30.00 per lesson.
  • Prorated/late entry: You need not wait until the next quarter to start. We can work out a prorated amount to take you to the next quarter start.
• Per Lesson/ad hoc scheduling: The per lesson rate is 40.00/hour (50 minutes) payable at the time of the lesson for those not able to go with the quarter plan. . These will be scheduled with at least 24 hours notice.

The first "lesson" is free, and consists of a get-to-know-you session in which we go over your instrument, or instrument needs if you haven't purchased yet, and do a banjo anatomy lesson and address setup issues or make instrument recommendations if you don't have a banjo yet.
